25 years after its debut, Alanis Morissette’s iconic Grammy-winning alt-rock anthem, “You Oughta Know,” remains a rallying call for disenfranchised lovers worldwide. Back in the zeitgeist in Broadway’s “Jagged Little Pill” as the show’s 11 o’clock number, the song is now gaining a following with a new generation. Alanis will be playing it live again when she’s back out on her anniversary tour. Never before has this track receive a big room remix, and now, for the first time, Stephen Jusko and DJ Blacklow have given it the progressive house treatment it deserves - ready for dance floors from LA to Toronto and from Rio to NYC.

We debated whether or not to release this remix during this period of social distancing (while there are no parties happening at which DJs could play it) or to hold on to it until normal life resumes again. At the end of the day, we decided that now was the time to share it, because there’s no time like now to bring folks a little more happiness through music... We can’t wait to play our remix of “You Oughta Know” when we finally get the chance to DJ again!

We will be donating 100% of our track sales on Bandcamp in 2020 to the LA LGBT Center, helping provide LGBTQ youth with life-saving services in times of crisis. Due to the coronavirus cancelation of the AIDS/LifeCycle, the LA Center has lost the main source of its annual operating budget and needs assistance!

And we'll be making the Radio Edit and Dub available for download a bit down the road.
